Innovation leads, entrepreneurship builds dreams | Hunan Yinfeng New Energy Co., Ltd. won the third prize in the 2023 China Hunan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

From August 14th to 15th, the semi-finals of the "Changsha Bank Cup" 2023 China-Hunan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in new energy (new energy vehicles) and energy-saving and environmental protection industries were held in Yiyang.

The competition focuses on the green and low-carbon field, and is committed to cultivating a group of green and low-carbon technology companies through competitions and improving the technological innovation capabilities of enterprises. This competition will award the "Provincial Excellent Enterprise Award" to the top 36.2% of the projects in the selection group. During the competition, the judging panel, composed of 5 venture capital or financial judges and 2 technical judges, will assess the participating projects by reviewing electronic materials and on-site defense, and announce the evaluation results on-site and publish the competition results and rankings in real time.

This competition attracted 88 scientific and technological innovation companies from Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, Hengyang, Yueyang, Changde and other cities and prefectures to actively participate. The company stood out among many excellent participating teams with its outstanding technological innovation and environmental protection concepts in the field of all-vanadium liquid flow batteries and won the third prize. The project "Key Technology Research and Development and Commercial Application of All-vanadium Liquid Flow Battery Energy Storage System" proposed by the company has aroused great interest and unanimous praise from the judging experts.

As a trillion-level energy storage track, all-vanadium liquid flow batteries carry the national energy security strategy. Energy storage is the key technical support for achieving the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" and energy revolution. Based on the characteristics of all-vanadium liquid flow batteries, such as inherent safety, ultra-long life, flexible configuration, lower carbon throughout the life cycle, green and environmental protection, and broad prospects in the field of long-term energy storage, it is expected to become one of the preferred technologies for effective long-term energy storage.

As a member unit of the Energy Industry Liquid Flow Battery Standardization Technical Committee, the Vice Chairman Unit of the Carbon Neutral Green Development Committee of the China Quality Inspection Association, and the Executive Chairman Unit of the Liquid Flow Branch of the Hunan Battery Industry Association, Yinfeng New Energy has production technology and processes with completely independent intellectual property rights and strong R&D capabilities, forming an independent intellectual property system covering liquid flow battery electrode materials, bipolar plates, electrolytes, stacks, system integration, photovoltaic power generation, off-grid power supply systems and smart grids, and has nearly 40 invention patents; the company has two major production bases for high-performance electrolyte, stack production and system integration, which can simultaneously mass-produce all-vanadium liquid flow battery power units and capacity units.
